For the first time in the United Arab Emirates, modern technology and AI is being used to sight the moon of an Islamic month.
According to Arab media, the UAE Fatwa Council allowed the use of modern technology to sight the moon.
The Fatwa Council said that directly seeing the moon using drones would be an important step and could be considered the basis for confirming the sighting of the moon.
After which, drones and artificial intelligence are being used to sight the moon of Ramadan for the first time today.
Thus, the United Arab Emirates became the first country to use drones and AI to sight the moon.
It should be remembered that the UAE government has also appealed to the public today to search for the moon with open eyes and submit testimonies.
